| Tapping into a long established
love of United States history, with a particular interest in the period
of 1861 – 1865, Jeff has created a series of works that capture the
places where ordinary people did extraordinary things, and by doing
so, helped to shape a nation. Who lived here? What happened here? How did the deeds performed here forever change the lives of a people and a nation? With his historical landscapes, Jeff provides the scene; however, the answers to these and other questions will remain unanswered until a personal connection, between the viewer and the painting, is established.
